Professional vs. your bookkeeping retainer
Professional costs less than a typical bookkeeping retainer
A basic accounting retainer in the Dominican Republic starts around ≈US$97 a month; for a small business, ≈US$161 is typical. Professional costs US$99 a month — about the same as the cheapest retainer on the market, and well below the typical ≈US$161 — and does that same work: it builds your DGII filings, keeps your books, and closes your month. Your accountant still does what only a Certified Public Accountant can do: review and sign your annual financial statements.

Got questions?
Do I need to install anything on my computer?
No. BeautySoft is 100% cloud-based. You only need a web browser and an internet connection. It works on desktops, tablets, and phones.
Is my data secure?
Yes. Your connection to the system is encrypted, we take automatic daily backups, and each business can only ever see its own data — no salon can reach another's.
Can I issue tax-compliant invoices?
Yes. BeautySoft integrates with FacturaYa to issue electronic invoices (e-CF) and manage your NCF sequences; that integration comes with every plan, including Basic. From the Professional plan up, the system also builds your DGII filings — 606, IT-1, IR-13, and IR-17 — ready to file. (The 607 and 608 formats stop being sent once you invoice 100% of your sales electronically; while they still apply to you, the system builds those too. 606 stays mandatory for everyone, always.) FacturaYa's own service is contracted separately: they bill the salon directly. Note that registering as an electronic issuer with the DGII is a filing your salon makes in its own name — it is yours to do, not something the software resolves for you. Note too that invoicing is built around Dominican fiscal numbering (NCF) — talk to us first if you operate outside the DR.
On the Basic plan, who files my 606?
Your accountant, the way they do today. The 606 is mandatory for every business and is normally their job — that does not change if you stay on Basic. What your accountant cannot do for you is issue the e-CF: the system does that, and it comes with every plan. If you also want the 606 and the rest of your filings built for you, that comes from the Professional plan up.
Can I switch plans later?
Of course. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time. The plan change takes effect immediately, and the prorated difference shows up as an adjustment on your next invoice — we do not charge your card at that moment. The exception is switching between monthly and annual: that does restart your cycle and bill the new plan's full period up front. No penalties, no long contracts.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
Your data stays available for at least 30 days after cancellation so you can export it. If you want it deleted, write to us and we will do it.
Do you offer support and training?
Yes. Basic and Professional have email support — 48 hours and 24 hours respectively. Enterprise has priority support by phone and WhatsApp (4 business hours) and includes onsite training. Configuring your account is an optional service, quoted for your salon, on any plan.
