Privacy Policy

1. What This Policy Covers

This policy covers two different things: the beautysoft.do website, which is what you are reading now, and the BeautySoft application, which is the system salons use to run their business every day. Sections beginning with “In the Application” refer to the system, not the website.

2. Information We Collect on the Website

When you use our contact form or request a demo, we collect:

• Full name
• Email address
• Phone number (if provided)
• Your salon or business name
• Any additional message you send us

In addition, visiting the site processes your IP address and browser to count the visit in aggregate, as explained under Cookies and Analytics.

3. How We Use That Information

We use your information solely to:

• Respond to your demo request or inquiry
• Send you information about our services if you request it
• Improve our website and services

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. What you enter in the contact form is stored in our own system, on servers we run, and also reaches us by email. If you write to us on WhatsApp, that conversation happens on WhatsApp's platform. If you subscribe, Stripe processes the payment and FacturaYa issues the electronic invoices; each receives only what it needs for its part.

4. In the Application: Whose Data It Is

When a salon uses BeautySoft, its clients’ data belongs to the salon, not to us. The salon decides what it keeps and why; we host it and protect it on their behalf. Each salon is separated from every other one: no salon ever sees another salon’s data. The same point appears under Data Ownership in our Terms of Service.

5. In the Application: What We Store

On the salon’s behalf, the system stores:

• About the business: name, tax ID (RNC), address, phone, email, and its staff accounts
• About its clients: name, phone, email, appointments, services received, purchases and payments, and any notes the salon writes
• Technical access logs, for security and support

We do not sell this data, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not use it to train artificial-intelligence models.

6. In the Application: WhatsApp Messages

Today WhatsApp has exactly one use in BeautySoft: from our own number we write to the salon owner about their own account — for example, to say that we could not charge their subscription. Only to the owner, and never to the salon’s clients. BeautySoft does not message any salon’s clients. We are preparing the ability for each salon to connect its own WhatsApp Business number to send its clients appointment reminders; when that exists, those messages will come from the salon’s number and not ours, only to clients whose reminders are switched on, and we will update this policy before turning it on.

7. Data Protection

We implement technical and organizational security measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

8. Cookies and Analytics

This website uses no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. We use Vercel Analytics to measure how the site is used: it sets no cookies and builds no profile of you, though it does process your IP address and browser, and records actions such as submitting the form or opening WhatsApp so we can see which parts of the site work. We also use Cloudflare Turnstile on the demo request form to verify that whoever submits it is a person and not an automated program (spam protection); Turnstile analyzes technical signals from your browser, such as your IP address, without showing you a visual captcha or building an advertising profile of you. We may use strictly necessary technical cookies for site functionality. If you submit the contact form, we save along with your request which link or site brought you to us (for example, a campaign's tags or the referring site), using only temporary browser memory that clears when the tab closes, with no cookies.

9. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your information
• Withdraw your consent at any time

10. How to Delete Your Data

Write to soporte@beautysoft.do and we will reply:

• If you are a client of a salon: ask the salon, which decides about your record and can delete it from the system. If you cannot reach them, write to us and we will pass the request on.
• If you are a salon owner: write from the email registered on your account. We confirm your identity and delete the data within 30 days, and tell you when it is done.

The only thing we keep afterwards is what Dominican law requires us to keep, such as tax receipts, for as long as the DGII requires.
